Details of the Role: Contract Type: Temporary positions (based on clients needs) Locations: South London Service Type: Domicillary Care Hours Varied Role / Responsibility The basic roles and responsibilities of a home care worker for elderly patients include providing personal support, helping with daily activities, promoting safety, and maintaining the person''s dignity and independence. 1. Personal Care, could include the following: Assisting with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene Helping with dressing and grooming Supporting toileting and continence care Assisting with mobility, transfers, and walking 2. Medication Support, could include the following: Reminding clients to take prescribed medications Assisting with medication according to care plans and local regulations Monitoring for side effects or changes in health and reporting concerns 3. Household Assistance, could include the following: Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, tidying) Making beds and changing linens Shopping for groceries and essential items Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding if required 4.
