Home Care Assistant

About the Role We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate Home Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes and out in the community. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.You will provide practical and emotional support to clients, helping them with daily living tasks and offering companionship and also accompanying them planned on activities and outings. Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toiletingSupporting with medication (in line with training and policies)Helping with meal preparation and light household tasksProviding companionship and emotional supportSupporting clients to maintain independence and well beingFollowing individual care plans and reporting any changes or concernsAdhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policiesAccessing the community in the form of activities, outings and clubsAbout YouKind, patient, and respectfulReliable with a strong sense of responsibilityGood communication skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamWilling to work flexible hours, possibly including evenings and weekendsAbility to plan activities and a scheduleEssential RequirementsA genuine caring nature and desire to support othersWillingness to undertake training and developmentEnhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)Right to work in the UKDesirable (but not ..... full job details .....
