Hod Carrier
We require an experienced hod-carrier / brickies labourer to work alongside bricklayers or preferably a 2&1 gang at Reading University.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Hod Carrier within the brickwork industry.
- Background knowledge of bricklaying processes and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a construction environment in Berkshire.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual work consistently.
- Own PPE and relevant safety equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying bricks, mortar, and other materials to bricklayers on-site using a Hod.
- Assisting with preparation and organisation of materials prior to commencement of work.
- Ensuring the safe handling and transportation of building materials according to safety standards.
- Supporting bricklayers in their work as required for smooth workflow.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment around the site.
