Flexible agency shifts and ongoing assignments are available. The Role As a Prison Nurse, you will provide safe, evidence-based healthcare within a secure environment, supporting patients with physical health, mental health and complex healthcare needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in line with NMC standards. Conduct clinical assessments, triage, health screenings and patient reviews. Administer medication and treatments safely. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Manage acute, chronic and complex health conditions within a secure setting. Provide emergency nursing care and respond appropriately to clinical incidents. Support patients with physical health, mental health and substance misuse needs. Develop and implement person-centred care plans. Work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
