Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Contract: Full-time, term-time only

Start Date: September 2026 on a temporary to permanent basis

Are you an enthusiastic HLTA or a Level 3 TA looking to make a positive impact in a secondary school setting?

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Bolton, helping students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The Role:

• Work closely with teaching staff to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Deliver targeted interventions and lead small group or one-to-one sessions
• Support students with a range of learning needs, helping them to build confidence, engagement, and independence
• Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every student can succeed

About You:

• Hold HLTA status or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Have previous experience working within a school environment
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
• Be confident adapting support strategies to meet the needs of individual learners
• Be passionate about helping young people achieve their academic and personal goals
