The successful candidate will play an important role within the school, supporting teachers and pupils while taking responsibility for leading learning and covering classes when required.The RoleAs an HLTA, you will:Work across KS1 and Lower KS2, supporting pupils across a range of year groups.Deliver engaging lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher.Support teachers with the planning, preparation and delivery of high-quality learning.Work with individuals and small groups to provide targeted support.Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations.Build strong and positive relationships with pupils and staff.Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.Contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively as part of the team.The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for someone who is:An experienced HLTA or highly experienced Teaching Assistant.Confident working across KS1 and Lower KS2.Comfortable leading ..... full job details .....
