Tradewind are looking for a dedicated HLTA to join a dynamic and supportive alternative provision school in Blackpool, starting as soon as possible.This full-time role will run for the entire academic year, with a strong possibility of a long-term or permanent contract for the right candidate.About the Role:You will work across the school supporting pupils aged 11-16 who face significant challenges in mainstream education due to social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for an HLTA who thrives in a fast-paced, pupil-centred environment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver and support learning activities across a range of subjectsSupport students with behaviour management and emotional regulationAssist in planning and delivering targeted interventionsWork closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external professionalsPromote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all studentsIdeal Candidate:HLTA status or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in an SEMH or alternative provision setting is highly desirableConfident managing challenging behaviour with a calm, consistent ..... full job details .....
