Tick Education are currently recruiting adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistants in Bedford to support primary and secondary schools on both a day-to-day supply and long-term basis.This role is ideal for an HLTA who thrives in different environments and enjoys the flexibility of supply work while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom.As a Supply HLTA, you will:Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups (EYFS-KS5)Provide whole-class cover in the absence of a teacherSupport small groups and individual pupils, including those with SENDAssist with planning and assessment in long-term placementsAdapt quickly to different school policies and classroom environmentsMaintain effective behaviour management in both primary and secondary settingsLong-term placements may include additional responsibilities such as supporting curriculum delivery, tracking pupil progress, and working closely with SENCOs and subject leads.What We''re Looking ForHLTA status or significant experience leading whole-class sessionsExperience in either primary, secondary, or both settingsStrong classroom and behaviour management skillsFlexibility, resilience, and confidence in new environmentsA professional and positive approachEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Why Tick Education?Tick Education supply compliant and committed ..... full job details .....
