HLTA Required - SEMH Specialist Provision - East SuffolkWe are currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join a supportive specialist education setting working with secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.This is an excellent opportunity for an HLTA, experienced Teaching Assistant, or education professional who is passionate about making a positive difference to young people who may have faced barriers to learning.The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting pupils'' educational and personal development. Responsibilities will include covering lessons when required, supporting learning across the curriculum, delivering targeted interventions, and running small group sessions based on the needs of the pupils.The Role:Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needsCovering lessons when required to ensure continuity of learningDelivering intervention programmes and small group activitiesSupporting pupils with engagement, confidence, and progressBuilding positive relationships and providing consistent supportWorking closely with teaching staff and the wider support team The Ideal Candidate Will Have: HLTA status or significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an education settingExperience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviourA calm, resilient, and positive approachThe ability to build strong relationships with young peopleConfidence ..... full job details .....
