A welcoming specialist primary school in Chertsey is looking for a confident and proactive HLTA to join their experienced SEN team.

This full-time HLTA role in Chertsey offers the opportunity to lead learning activities, deliver targeted interventions and provide high-quality classroom support to pupils with a range of additional needs.

As an HLTA, you will:

• Lead learning activities and small group sessions

• Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with SEN

• Provide classroom cover when required

• Support individual learning and development plans

• Encourage communication, confidence and independence

• Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff

• Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment

The school in Chertsey is looking for an HLTA who is confident, organised and passionate about SEN education.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as an HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant

• Strong knowledge of SEN and additional learning needs

• Confidence leading groups and delivering learning activities

• Excellent communication and behaviour support skills

• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach

An HLTA qualification would be beneficial, although strong relevant experience will also be considered.
