Reporting directly to the Student Services Manager, you will be a key driver in overcoming barriers to learning for pupils with complex SEMH and SEND needs.This is more than a mentoring role; it is a leadership position designed for someone who can manage staff, influence curriculum delivery, and act as a pivotal link between senior management and the classroom.The Role: Impact and LeadershipAs a Senior Learning Mentor, you will:Lead and Deploy: Manage a team of Learning Mentors, including line management, supervision, and performance procedures.Deliver Interventions: Take the lead on whole-group sessions across diverse areas such as Literacy, Numeracy, Sport, Outdoor Education, and Therapeutic Interventions (Boxall/PASS).Pastoral Excellence: Manage the supervision of pupils excluded from mainstream education, developing 1:1 mentoring arrangements and support plans.Strategic Support: Assist teachers with the development of SEND/Behaviour support plans and provide objective reporting on pupil progress and achievement.Bridging the Gap: Manage liaison with schools and external agencies to ensure a seamless transfer of pupil information and ..... full job details .....
