Description - HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) Qualiteach are currently working with a specialist SEN school in Leeds that is looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive setting that caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH and communication difficulties. The school is committed to providing a structured, nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining high standards of behaviour and ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment Support pupils with additional needs to access learning effectively Ensure work is completed in line with teacher expectations Follow school behaviour policies and safeguarding procedures Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and engagement Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents where appropriate The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience working within a school setting Experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH or behavioural needs A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, ..... full job details .....
