HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - SEN Experience Required South London Full-Time Long-Term Opportunity 110 - 140 per day (dependent on experience) Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a rewarding role within a supportive SEN setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist school in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential. The Role As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with teachers and the SEN team, you will lead small group interventions, deliver pre-planned lessons, and provide targeted support for students with a range of special educational needs. The setting supports pupils with needs including: Autism (ASC) SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) ADHD Speech and Language Difficulties Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Additional complex needs Key Responsibilities Deliver lessons and learning activities in the absence of the teacher. Lead intervention groups and targeted academic support sessions. Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour management.
