HLTAGloucesterMainstream Primary SchoolAcademics are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety or is looking to secure a long-term placement.As an HLTA, you will be expected to provide PPA cover across a couple of year groups, support learning across the curriculum, and work closely with school staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and on track.Key Responsibilities:Deliver pre-planned lessons across a couple of year groupsProvide PPA cover when requiredSupport small groups and individual pupilsSupport classroom behaviour managementAssist with tracking pupil progressRequirements:HLTA qualification or equivalent experiencePrevious experience covering classesStrong classroom and behaviour management skillsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (Or willing to apply)What We Offer:Competitive daily rates ( 95- 120: Depending on experience)Flexible workingAccess to training and CPDPAYEYou may have recently qualified as an ECT and are open to gaining more experience by working as a HLTA.
