Are You Ready to Make a Real Difference?We are looking for a compassionate, adaptable Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join one of our client specialist schools in Shrewsbury. The schools focus is to provide an inclusive environment for students with a range of learning difficulties, including:- Moderate, severe, complex, and profound learning difficulties Autism- Physical and mobility challenges- Behavioural and communication difficultiesIf you are passionate about helping students overcome these challenges and achieve their potential, this is the role for you.What Will You Be Doing?As a HLTA, your role will be both rewarding and varied. You will:- Lead and support lessons under the direction of class teachers, helping students engage in learning through tailored support.- Provide 1:1 and small group assistance, ensuring that learning is accessible to all students, regardless of their individual needs.- Promote confidence and independence in students by fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.- Manage and support positive behaviour, using effective techniques to help maintain a calm and structured classroom.- Encourage communication in students who face challenges in this area, using creative and inclusive methods to support their expression.- Track and report on student progress, providing feedback to help inform the next steps in their learning.What We''re Looking ForThe ideal candidate will be:- Passionate about making a difference in the ..... full job details .....
