HLTA - Starting Summer Term

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a rewarding role starting this Summer Term? Are you based in Cranleigh or nearby?

We are working with a well-regarded primary school in Cranleigh and are recruiting a HLTA to support within a KS2 class on their behalf. This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking a flexible and engaging role within one school.

As a HLTA, you will support the delivery of planned lessons, work with small groups and whole classes, and help pupils achieve their full potential. This Cranleigh primary school offers variety, enrichment, and valuable experience in a supportive school environment.

Job role and responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Lead small group interventions and, at times, whole class teaching
• Support and engage pupils in their learning
• Maintain a positive and structured learning environment
• Adapt to different classroom needs
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working within KS2
• DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Able to commute to Cranleigh
