      <description>Location: Gravesend | Salary: &amp;pound;110 - &amp;pound;115/day | Type: Permanent | Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)    Location:  Gravesend, Kent  Contract:  Full-Time, Permanent  Start Date:  September 2026 or October 2026  We are looking to appoint a motivated and experienced  Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)  to join our dedicated primary school team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work across  Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 , supporting pupils both in the classroom and through targeted intervention programmes.   About the Role   As a HLTA, you will:    Deliver planned learning activities to whole classes, small groups and individual pupils in the absence of the class teacher or under their guidance.    Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2 to help pupils make excellent progress.    Lead intervention sessions that meet the needs of learners with a range of abilities.    Establish high expectations for behaviour and maintain a positive, purposeful learning environment.    Work closely with teachers and other members of staff to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
