Supply Desk is currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in High Wycombeandnbsp;that is seeking to appoint a dedicated History Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, working within a supportive and well-established department.

This full-time, long-term position in High Wycombeandnbsp;presents an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed educator to inspire and engage students through high-quality, dynamic teaching. The successful candidate will deliver the UK national curriculum, adapting lessons to suit a range of learning styles while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving. By nurturing curiosity and a genuine love of learning, they will play a key role in supporting studentsandrsquo; academic achievement and personal development.
The ideal candidate will:
- Thorough knowledge of the UK History curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons.
- Degree in a relevant subject, ideally accompanied by Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in delivering lessons in accordance with the UK national curriculum, ensuring high educational standards.
- Strong classroom managementandnbsp;and effective communication skills, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
- Skilled in supporting and engaging students across a range of abilities, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing the role.
- Innovative and interactive teaching approach, with a focus on hands-on, enquiry-based learningandnbsp;that inspires curiosity and critical thinking.
