Job Description:

• Plan and deliverandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;challenging, andandnbsp;inclusiveandnbsp;lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Foster a classroom environment that promotesandnbsp;critical thinking,andnbsp;debate, andandnbsp;historical enquiry
• Use a variety ofandnbsp;assessment strategiesandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform planning
• Inspire students to develop a love for history and a deeper understanding of the world around them
• Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;enrichment activities,andnbsp;school events, andandnbsp;cross-curricular projects

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teachingandnbsp;Historyandnbsp;at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
• Be aandnbsp;reflective,andnbsp;innovative, andandnbsp;student-centredandnbsp;practitioner
• Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;student wellbeing
