About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality History lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Design and implement stimulating lessons that align with the national curriculum
- Track and evaluate student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Take an active role in the wider school life, including extracurricular events and parental communication
The ideal candidate will:
- Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Holds a degree in History or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrates experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
- Skilled in managing classroom behaviour and adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs
- Exhibits strong communication and organisational skills
