Pay Rates: andpound;163 - andpound;223 a day
Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM andndash; 3:30 PM

Supply Desk are working in close partnership with one of our fantastic grammar schools in Medway, who are looking for a committed History Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September until at least Christmas, with potential for extension. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a meaningful impact within a high-achieving and supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Foster a love for history and develop studentsandrsquo; critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Communicate historical content clearly and creatively to a range of learning abilities.
• Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment with strong behaviour management.
• Adapt to the needs of the school, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents alike.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold UK QTS and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Have recent experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4.
• Be a passionate subject specialist who brings enthusiasm and creativity to lessons.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom control and the ability to engage learners at all levels.
• Have a current DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
• Be open to flexible, long-term or ongoing contracts in the Rochester/Medway area.
