About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic History teacher to take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivery, and marking, across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver well-structured, inspiring History lessons tailored to engage curious minds.
• Plan and assess effectively to track student progress and ensure excellent outcomes.
• Uphold high classroom standards with strong behaviour management.
• Participate fully in departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with students and colleagues alike.

Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS and a relevant degree in History or a related field.
• Have recent experience teaching KS3 and KS4 History.
• Be confident in planning and marking to GCSE level.
• Be passionate about education and committed to student success.
• Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Have a current DBS (on the update service) or be willing to apply for one.
