About the Role:


  • Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that bring historical events and themes to life
  • Foster critical thinking, debate, and a love for learning in your students
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality resources and curriculum planning
  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities



The ideal candidate will:


  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome)
  • Have experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
  • Be committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning environment
  • Possess strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Be dedicated to inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
