Supply Deskandnbsp;are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in High Wycombeandnbsp;that is seeking to appoint a History Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4andnbsp;within a supportive and well-established department.

This full-time, long-term position, based in High Wycombe, offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and motivate studentsandnbsp;through dynamic and engaging lessons. The successful candidate will deliver the UK national curriculum, adapting their teaching approach to accommodate a variety of learning styles while promoting critical thinkingandnbsp;and problem-solving skills. By fostering curiosity and a love of learning, they will play a vital role in preparing students for academic success and personal growth.
The ideal candidate will:
Strong understanding of the UK History curriculum
A relevant degreeandnbsp;with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desirable)
Experience delivering lessons in line with the UK national curriculum
Excellent classroom managementandnbsp;and communication skills
Ability to engage and support students of all abilities
Enhanced DBSandnbsp;registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
A creative and interactive teaching style, promoting hands-on, enquiry-based learning
