About the Role:

A well-regarded secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their dynamic humanities department. Youandrsquo;ll inspire students to explore the past, think critically, and develop a deep understanding of historical events and their relevance today.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is a plus)
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Promote debate, discussion, and independent inquiry in the classroom
• Track, assess, and report on student progress
• Support enrichment activities, school events, and curriculum-related trips

Requirements:

• QTS and a degree in History or a related subject
• Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and current pedagogical approaches
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• A genuine passion for teaching and developing young minds
