Monarch Education is partnering with a secondary school in Dudley to recruit a full-time History Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 on a long-term basis starting in SeptemberRole OverviewDeliver History lessons aligned with the national curriculumTeach students across KS3 and KS4Support learners in preparation for GCSE exams and assessmentsMaintain effective classroom behaviour in line with school policyAdapt teaching to suit a range of abilities, including SEN pupilsAssess, monitor, and record student progress and attainmentTake part in wider school activities, including intervention sessions where neededKey ResponsibilitiesTeach a broad History curriculum across different periods and themesDevelop students'' historical knowledge, source analysis, and critical thinkingApply behaviour management strategies to support learningUse performance data to inform lesson planning and targeted supportWork collaboratively with department staff on curriculum deliveryMaintain accurate records of student progress and reportingRequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essentialExperience teaching History in a UK secondary schoolAbility to teach across KS3 and KS4Strong classroom and behaviour management skillsGood understanding of GCSE History content and exam requirementsEarly Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply Benefits of Working with Monarch Education: leading provider, Crown Commercial Service Approvedopportunity to enhance your CPD portfolio through our ..... full job details .....
