A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational Head of Humanities to lead a high-achieving faculty at a progressive secondary school in Kensington & Chelsea. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader to drive academic excellence, foster a culture of critical inquiry, and ensure outstanding progress for all students across History, Geography, and Religious Education.
The Role
The Head of Humanities will:
- Provide strategic leadership and management for the entire Humanities faculty.
- Oversee curriculum design, assessment, and the quality of teaching and learning across KS3-5.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of highly skilled Humanities teachers.
- Manage departmental resources and budget effectively.
- Promote cross-curricular links and foster a global perspective.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an exceptional Humanities teacher with QTS/QTLS and proven leadership experience who:
