History Teacher

An academically ambitious school in York is recruiting a History Teacher to join their thriving humanities team. This is a full-time position starting September, teaching History at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver thought-provoking and well-structured History lessons.

• Encourage debate, analysis, and critical thinking.

• Support curriculum development and student enrichment.

Requirements:

• Degree in History or related field.

• QTS or PGCE.

• Passion for history and strong classroom practice.
