Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive and thriving secondary school? We are a well-regarded school in Nottingham are currently seeking a History Teacher to join their team from April 2026. This role will involve teaching key stage 3 to key stage 4. Ideally you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for this role.

About the Role:

• Subject Specialism: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in History.
• Potential for permanent contract: For a candidate who demonstrates exceptional skills and a genuine passion for teaching, there is a potential for this role to become permanent.

What We''re Looking For:

• Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred, but we are open to considering strong candidates with significant teaching experience.
• Experience: You should have a solid background in teaching History. Experience in managing diverse classrooms and dealing with challenging behaviour is essential.
• Skills: Exceptional classroom management skills are a must. You should be confident, proactive, and enthusiastic about teaching, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
