About the Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging History and Politics lessons that spark curiosity and deepen studentsandrsquo; understanding of key events, concepts, and themes
- Create inclusive and differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and individual student needs, fostering an accessible and supportive learning environment
- Apply effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive, focused, and respectful classroom atmosphere
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students to promote academic growth and inspire a genuine interest in History and Politics
- Gain valuable experience in a dynamic school setting, with opportunities for professional development and meaningful contributions to the wider school community
The ideal candidate will:
- Proven experience working within a classroom setting
- Hold a valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Adaptable and confident working in a variety of school environments
- Strong knowledge of the History curriculum
- Effective classroom management skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification
