Supply Desk are working in partnership with a thriving 11andndash;18 mixed secondary school in Medway, supporting their search for a committed and passionate History and Politics Teacher. This Ofsted-rated andlsquo;Goodandrsquo; school has a strong community ethos, a supportive leadership team, and a clear focus on staff well-being.

They are looking for a resilient and inspiring teacher with experience delivering both History and Politics up to KS5, who can step into a flexible, full-time supply role from October half-term through to July 2026.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive History and Politics lessons, with full teaching responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum and AQA specifications
• Teach across Key Stages 3andndash;5, adapting content to suit a range of learner abilities
• Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment and academic support
• Take on form tutor duties, if required
• Collaborate with colleagues and attend school events such as parentsandrsquo; evenings

What We''re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching History and Politics up to KS5
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for making History and Politics relevant and engaging
• A resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
• Willingness to work within a flexible supply contract while committing fully to school life
• Ability to reliably commute to Medway
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
