Hire Logistics Team Leader

I am recruitng for an experienced Hire Logistics Team Leader for a very successful and long established organisation, based at their warehouse premises in Wickford, Essex. Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience/skills. This is a newly established role within the business and represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics or warehouse professional to take ownership of the hire logistics function and play a key part in its development. Initially operating as a standalone position, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to establish and develop the function, with plans to build a team as the operation continues to grow. The Role Working in a busy, fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, dispatch, return and maintenance of the company''s specialist hire equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation while also having the initiative to improve processes and take ownership of their area. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing, cleaning and checking the hire equipment ( technical products) and associated equipment ready for hire. Programming equipment using specialist software full training will be provided. Picking, checking and securely packing equipment for dispatch.
