A well-established and customer-focused business in Stockton-on-Tees is looking to recruit a dedicated and organised Hire Controller to join their growing team.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy and supportive environment where excellent service and efficient operations are at the heart of everything they do.Key Responsibilities:Handle customer enquiries professionally and efficientlyProcess and manage hire and purchase orders for equipmentCoordinate timely and accurate delivery of equipment to clients and job sitesProvide general administrative support, including invoicing, filing, and maintaining recordsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer serviceThe Ideal Candidate:Ideally, has previous experience as a Hire ControllerIs confident in dealing with customers and resolving queriesWorks well as part of a team but is also capable of managing tasks independentlyDemonstrates a proactive attitude and strong attention to detailHas solid organisational and time management skillsMaintains a professional, positive, and enthusiastic approachAdditional Information:Salary negotiableHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (42.5 hours/week, 30-minute lunch)Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidaysPension: 4% employer contributionFree on-site ..... full job details .....
