£30,000 to £35,000 + Benefits + Bonus

NEOS Engineering Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and growing plant and equipment hire business that is looking to recruit an experienced Hire Controller for its Bristol operation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful hire business with a strong reputation in the industry and continued plans for growth.

The successful candidate will become an important part of the depot team, managing customer enquiries, coordinating equipment hires and ensuring customers receive an efficient and professional service from initial enquiry through to off-hire.

As Hire Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Managing incoming hire enquiries via telephone and email

• Producing quotations and processing hire orders

• Advising customers on suitable plant and equipment

• Checking availability and allocating equipment

• Organising deliveries and collections

• Managing on-hire and off-hire equipment

• Liaising with transport, workshop and sales teams

• Maintaining accurate hire records and updating internal systems

• Building strong relationships with existing customers

• Following up quotations and identifying additional hire opportunities

• Resolving customer queries efficiently and professionally

• Supporting the wider depot operation

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have previously worked as a:

Hire Controller | Hire Desk Controller | Hire Coordinator | Senior Hire Controller | Hire Administrator | Hire Desk Manager

Experience within plant hire, tool hire, powered access, construction equipment, material handling or equipment rental would be highly advantageous.

You should be commercially aware, organised and confident dealing with customers in a busy hire environment.

£30,000 – £35,000 basic salary
