Hire Controller

PLANT HIRE CONTROLLER Location: Farnborough / surrounding areas Salary: 35,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm (45 hours per week) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Hire Controller to join an established plant and tool hire business. This is a varied role working across two nearby operational sites, so the successful candidate will ideally be based in or around Farnborough and comfortable travelling between both locations. The role combines customer service, hire desk administration, transport coordination and day-to-day operational support, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within plant hire, tool hire, logistics, transport or a similar environment.Key Responsibilities - Communicating with customers face-to-face, by telephone and email - Taking and processing plant and tool hire orders and sales - Developing knowledge of new products and services - Maintaining stock levels and sales goods - Supporting equipment deliveries during busy periods - Preparing daily work schedules for drivers and efficiently accommodating additional customer orders - Coordinating and managing driver performance - Managing driver holiday schedules and timekeeping - Ensuring vehicles attend scheduled servicing and MOT appointments - Maintaining and improving operational KPIs - Supporting promotional and customer events - Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment - Ensuring all operational ..... full job details .....
