Hire Controller

Our client is a provider of plant hire and specialist attachments to the construction industry across the UK and Ireland. They offer a comprehensive range of modern plant and machinery, with a strong focus on customer service, safety, innovation and supporting clients across a variety of construction projects.They are seeking an experienced Hire Controller to join their team. You will manage customer plant hire requirements, coordinate equipment movements and work closely with Operations to ensure the right equipment is supplied to sites efficiently and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for customers throughout the hire process.Coordinate equipment deliveries, collections, mobilisation and demobilisation.Understand customer requirements and provide accurate quotations.Work closely with Operations to manage plant availability and equipment allocation.Ensure hire documentation, delivery notes, certificates and purchase orders are completed accurately.Maintain regular communication with customers and resolve issues or complaints promptly.Maintain accurate records of plant, equipment, customers and hire agreements.Provide reports on equipment availability, utilisation and maintenance requirements.Ensure hire activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and customer satisfaction.RequirementsPrevious experience in a similar role within the plant hire industry.Good knowledge of plant ..... full job details .....
