Hire Controller

We''re looking for an experienced Hire Controller to join a busy and established plant/tool hire operation in Acton. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous hire desk experience who enjoys a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Role Overview Manage customer hire enquiries, bookings and off-hires Process contracts, orders and hire documentation Coordinate equipment deliveries and collections Liaise with workshop and transport teams Monitor fleet availability and equipment allocation Maximise hire opportunities and ancillary sales Provide excellent customer service Assist customers with loading/unloading equipment when required Requirements 2+ years'' experience within plant hire, tool hire or equipment rental Previous hire desk/hire controller experience Syrinx experience highly desirable Good knowledge of the hire process, transport and fleet scheduling Strong organisation and communication skills Full UK Category B manual driving licence essential Physically fit and comfortable assisting with loading/unloading Polish or Ukrainian language skills advantageous Salary and Benefits £46,000+ per year Monday-Friday, 6am-5pm Minimum 2 Saturdays per month, 6am-1pm Established plant/tool hire operation Varied, customer-facing role Opportunity to develop within a busy hire environment Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range ..... full job details .....
