We''re working with a respected contractor delivering a prestigious highways surfacing programme across Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Surfacing Supervisor to step into a key role overseeing works on a freelance basis, with flexibility through CIS or LTD payment options.

Job Role:

As a Highways Surfacing Supervisor, you''ll take responsibility for managing day-to-day surfacing operations on site. You''ll oversee crews, ensure works are delivered safely and to specification, and coordinate with site teams and stakeholders to maintain programme timelines. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership on site, and a commitment to maintaining high standards across all works.

Requirements:

·Proven experience as a Surfacing Supervisor within highways projects
·Strong knowledge of asphalt and surfacing operations
·Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification
·CSCS card (essential)
·Good understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance
·Ability to manage teams and coordinate site activities effectively
·Strong communication and organisational skills
·Full UK driving licence
