Our client is seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to oversee road and highways projects across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, including Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

The Role

• Supervise highways and new roads projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinate site teams and suppliers to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Monitor progress, quality and productivity against project requirements and programmes.
• Lead daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions where required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including relevant highways and construction standards.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly, escalating matters when necessary.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspections and progress reports.

About You

• Previous supervisory experience on highways, new roads or related civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrable experience working on new roads schemes.
• Valid SSSTS certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Effective communication and team leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel across the Milton Keynes area and locations within approximately 40 miles.

Location and Package

• Based in Milton Keynes, with projects across Oxford, Cambridge and surrounding areas.
• Permanent position.
• Salary of -50,000 to -60,000, depending on experience.
