Highways Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to join our client''s team in the Milton Keynes area on a freelance, immediate-start basis. The role will involve supervising highways maintenance and repair works, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
·Supervise day-to-day highways maintenance and repair works on site
·Ensure works are carried out in accordance with specifications, drawings, and programmes
·Manage site operatives and subcontractors
·Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
·Coordinate materials, plant, and traffic management requirements
·Carry out site inspections and quality checks
·Liaise with clients, engineers, and local authorities as required
·Complete site records, reports, and paperwork accurately
Requirements
·Proven experience in a Highways Supervisor role
·Strong knowledge of highways maintenance and repair works
·SMSTS or SSSTS (essential)
·NRSWA Supervisor qualification (essential)
·First Aid (preferred)
·Good understanding of health & safety legislation
·Ability to manage teams and work to tight deadlines
·Full UK driving licence
Nights may be required on this contract, rates are dependent on experience.
