Highways Sub Agent

Your new company A leading civil engineering contractor has secured a major highways infrastructure project in the Milton Keynes area and is looking to appoint a Sub Agent to support delivery from the outset. This is a long-term contract opportunity on a significant civil engineering scheme with a strong pipeline of future works.Your new role As Sub Agent, you will report directly to the Project Manager and take responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of sections of work on site.Key responsibilities include:Managing site teams, including Foremen, supervisors and subcontractorsPlanning and coordinating daily construction activitiesMonitoring programme, quality and productivity targetsEnsuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with specificationsAssisting with short-term planning and progress reportingLiaising with engineers, commercial teams and site managementSupporting delivery of highways and civil engineering works from project commencementWhat you''ll need to succeed Previous experience as a Sub Agent, Site Agent or experienced Section Engineer looking to step upStrong civil engineering or highways backgroundExperience managing site teams and subcontractorsKnowledge of health, safety and quality standardsSMSTS and CSCS qualificationsAbility to work collaboratively within a project delivery teamWhat you need to do now If you''re interested in this role, click ''apply now'' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn''t ..... full job details .....
