Highways Site TechnicianGlasgow First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer who are looking for a Site Technician to join their team, working on behalf of a major public sector client across Scotland''s trunk road network. The role will focus on carrying out inspections, auditing and monitoring of road and structures assets, ensuring Suppliers are delivering works in accordance with contractual requirements, specifications and good practice. This is a great opportunity for a Civil Engineering Technician or experienced highways professional looking for a site-based role with responsibility for inspection, compliance and quality across a major roads network. The RoleCarry out inspections, audits and monitoring in accordance with agreed programmesInspect, audit and monitor asset inventory collection and updating across the roads networkCarry out site inspections and issue notices based on observations in accordance with Supplier contractsVerify Supplier records are accurate and that works have been completed in accordance with specifications and contract documentationVerify quantities and values claimed by Suppliers and ensure these provide a true record of works undertakenContribute to reports and information requiredMaintain a strong understanding of the relevant Supplier contracts and contractual requirements What We''re Looking ForHNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent, or a relevant experience within highways, roads or civil engineering2+ years ..... full job details .....
