Highways Project Manager

Your new company
A leading infrastructure contractor is delivering a growing portfolio of highways, street lighting and technology projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of framework work secured and a number of major schemes planned for the coming years, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth.

Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of highway technology, street lighting and infrastructure projects across multiple frameworks and local authority contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of projects from inception through to completion.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Monitor programme performance, costs and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate resources, procurement and project reporting.
• Manage client and framework relationships.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, quality and health & safety requirements.
• Support the delivery of multiple concurrent schemes across the region.

What you''ll need to succeed

• Proven Project Management experience within highways, street lighting, technology, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within framework environments.
• Strong understanding of project controls, programme management and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience managing subcontractors and operational delivery teams.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
• SMSTS, CSCS and relevant industry qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence.
