Due to increased workload and network recovery requirements, the business is expanding its delivery support team.Your new roleAs a Highways Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and safe delivery of reactive and minor planned highways maintenance works across the local network.Plan and schedule highway maintenance activities using a works management system across multiple delivery teams.Coordinate reactive maintenance, carriageway and footway works, considering traffic management, hazards and resource availabilityReview, check and verify work instructions prior to issuing to delivery teams.Ensure all works comply with health and safety, quality and environmental requirements and the local highways authority specification.Undertake site-based inspections and audits to verify compliance with company standardsSupport the achievement of contractual KPIs, escalating risks or constraints where performance may be impactedWork collaboratively with the Senior Delivery Technician, Delivery Manager, operational teams and supply chain partners.Promote best practice, continuous improvement and ..... full job details .....
