We''re looking for a Highways Maintenance Operative to join our Somerset team based in Minehead. Location: Minehead, Somerset - Site basedHours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Salary: From £27,976 plus overtime, call out and standby We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. What will you be responsible for? As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you''ll be working within the highways maintenance team, supporting them in delivering efficient and timely highway services. Your day to day will include: Responding to highway defects within designated timescales, including installing and removing emergency traffic management signage Delivering minor improvement works to enhance the Somerset network Using tablet devices to provide accurate records of works and incidents Operating a variety of plant and equipment safely and effectively Promoting customer care by working closely with colleagues and interacting politely with clients and the general public ..... full job details .....
