Highway Maintenance Engineer / Project Supervisor - Doncaster - 45ph UmbrellaAn excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing highways team following increased capital investment in preventative highway maintenance programmes.We are seeking an experienced Highway Maintenance Engineer / Project Supervisor with strong civil engineering knowledge and hands-on experience in preventative treatments including surface dressing, micro-asphalt, and slurry surfacing.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple concurrent highway maintenance schemesSupervise Clerks of Works and oversee contractors on siteEnsure specification compliance, quality standards, and programme deliveryMake sound engineering decisions relating to highways maintenance worksCoordinate preventative maintenance activities across live projectsEssential ExperiencePreventative highway maintenance experience (surface dressing, micro-asphalt, slurry surfacing)Strong civil engineering and contractor management backgroundAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience overseeing quality and specification adherenceDesirableLevel 3 Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent experienceLocal authority/highways maintenance backgroundGIS familiarity and standard IT skillsLocation: Doncaster Rate: 45 per hour UmbrellaWe can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position.
