RequiredProven experience managing highways or civil engineering projects in the UK.Strong knowledge of highways standards (e.g., DMRB, Manual for Streets) and construction best practices.Experience working with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4).Excellent understanding of CDM Regulations and safety management.Strong project management and organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.Competent in the use of project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).Full UK driving licence.SMSTS Certification preferred.Chartered or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (ICE, CIHT, APM).STRABAG - More than just a construction companyYour contribution to our company

Lead the delivery of highways projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with client, statutory, and contractual requirements.Manage contractors, consultants, and supply chains to deliver programmes effectively.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality, safety, and environmental standards.Support the development and submission of consents, and manage all consent conditions.Oversee construction activities, traffic management, and roadworks to minimise disruption.Provide accurate project reporting, progress updates, and risk/issue management to senior stakeholders.Ensure compliance with UK highways standards, CDM Regulations, and Health and Safety legislation.Manage budgets, monitor costs, and ensure value for money.Build strong relationships with local authorities, National Highways, utility companies, and communities.Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery.Support the development and mentoring of junior staff within the highways team.Pre-employment screening
