This contract position will lead the strategic management of the highways asset function. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary professional team, setting clear direction and managing performance. Develop and deliver comprehensive highways asset management plans, including lifecycle planning and inventory management. Shape long-term strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with council objectives and national best practices. Manage and influence significant capital and revenue budgets, ensuring value for money and robust financial planning.
