Job description Highways and Transport Data AnalystOur client is currently looking for a Highways and Transport Data Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will lead on departmental data analysis, reporting and visualisation, helping to improve service delivery and support evidence-based decision-making.Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of the Highways and Transport Data Strategy, establishing and maintaining a centralised digital register of data assets Manage and maintain highways and transport GIS data layers, ensuring accuracy and accessibility Extract, clean and analyse large datasets to identify trends, performance measures and actionable insights Develop automated dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio or similar tools Produce clear and accessible analytical reports for senior management, project teams and the wider public Support the monitoring and evaluation of local transport schemes, developing outcome-reporting templates and standard monitoring methods Support the testing and integration of new data collection equipment, software and emerging technologies Build relationships with external partners, including Transport for London (TfL), to access and utilise regional transport datasets Work with project managers and colleagues to understand their data requirements and develop appropriate analytical solutions Provide guidance and support to colleagues to improve data literacy and ..... full job details .....
