Highway Works ManagerBedfordshire£450 - £500 per day6 month contract initially Are you an experienced Highway Works Manager looking for a new challenge?An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Works Manager with experience in major projects to join a client in Bedfordshire. This is a full-time contract position. Flexible working arrangements are available. Your main duties include: Manage delivery resources to ensure successful completion of capital construction projects up to £500k. Manage health, safety, environment and quality undertakings to ensure compliance to company and regulatory standards. Work with the Programme Manager and Client to define the Annual Plan/ Contractor''s Plan for the portfolios and deliver against these commitments. Manage the delivery phase of the scheme Essential requirements: Experience of managing construction schemes operational resources New roads and streetworks supervisor experience SMSTS qualified Relevant academic construction/project management qualifications Knowledge of Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs manual Working understanding of Microsoft 365, Asta, Confirm About you: Previous experience in highways is essential for this role.
